Tour description

This varied and challenging downhill tour leads from the Freiburger Hütte via the Stebok-Wäg to Dalaas. The alpine nature trail features rocky, root-covered, and technically challenging sections, as well as impressive views of the Klostertal.

Note: This route is suitable only for skilled and experienced mountain bikers. Safe riding techniques and consideration for hikers are required. Beginners are advised not to attempt this route.

Freiburgerhütte - Stebok-Wäg - Dalaas

Mountain bike, helmet, rain gear or sun protection, as well as a light snack and plenty of water. Cell phone for emergencies.

A wide range of activities around the Freiburg Hut: the Stebok-Wäg themed trail, Formarin Lake (fishing available), and Alpe Formarin

Bicycles cannot be transported on the hiking bus. Alternatively, you can reach Formarinsee outside of restricted hours by driving your own car on the toll road (for a fee) or by cycling the route directly.

If you park your car in Lech or Dalaas, you can take the regular scheduled buses for both the outbound and return trips. On select bus routes, you can also transport your bicycle on the rear bike rack.
