Come, help out! Diversity Day in the European Protected Area Klostertaler Mountain Forests "Alpe Gavar"
The impressive and richly structured mountainous landscape of the European protected area "Klostertaler Bergwälder" stretches like a band on the sunny side of the Klostertal from Bludenz to Langen am Arlberg. From steep mountain forests with valuable deadwood to flowering, rare dry meadows, there are top-notch habitats found here.
During this diversity day at Alpe Gavar in Innnerbraz, we will be removing bracken from grazing areas. This helps prevent the encroachment of valuable dry meadows, secures open pastures as valuable habitats and hunting grounds for numerous bird species, and enhances the biodiversity of the alpine cultural landscape.
Let's tackle this together – surrounded by the wonderful mountain world of the European protected area Klostertaler Bergwälder! An event organized by the Nature Conservation Association Verwall-Klostertaler Bergwälder.
